On July 25, Mr. Ren Xuefeng, Vice Mayor of Tianjin, accompaied by Li Peisheng, Vice Director of General Office of Tianjin Municipality Government, attended the meeting summarizing CTIETCC’s work in the first half of 2008 .
The Vice Mayor affirmed the achievements and contributions made by CTIETCC to export-oriented economy in Tianjin. He also confirmed CTIETCC’s development in the past 24 months with the orientation to build itself into a leading enterprise of international cooperation business in Tianjin.
The Vice Mayor wished that CTIETCC should catch hold of the historic opportunities with ideas of innovation and opening-up, and develop international cooperative business actively in order to play a key role in the development of Tianjin.
The Vice Mayor also put forward some important opinions on aspects of the development orientation, core business, organizational structure, cultural development, Party building and strategy of talented people.
At last, the Vice Mayor raised a call on CTIETCC’ future work, which read as”be inspired with enthusiasm, consolidating the culture, reinstituting the structure and striving for further progress”.
Mr. Wu Hengquan, CPC secretary of CTIETCC, presided the meeting. Mr. Chi Jie, President of CTIETCC, made a speech on the meeting. He expressed, on behalf of all leading members and employees of CTIETCC, that we would catch hold of the opportunities and carry through the instructions from the Vice Mayor on building a new competitive power to achieve a better and fast development.
