After a one year period for the exploration, design, construction and trial production, the exploitation of nickle strip mine, located in Sulawesi Island, Indonesia, under the joint exploitation of CTIETCC and its local partner Pt. Bola Dunia Mandiri was started on May 27, 2008. The successful exploitation indicates that CTIETCC has made an important breakthrough and outstading achievements in the fields of international economic and technical cooperation. With this strip mine, CTIETCC will make remarkable profits from the nickle mine and meanwhile it shall relax the tension of the lack of high contents nickle laterite in China.
